Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
This policy explains what information Shlon collects when you use shlon.app, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. Shlon is a quoting and job-management platform for printing companies. Contact: info@shlon.app.
1. Information we collect
Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a hash by our authentication provider), company name, country, language and currency.
Sign-in with Google or Apple: if you choose it, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from the provider. We never see or store your Google or Apple password.
Business data you enter: customers, quotes, job orders, selling prices, cost settings, and files you upload such as logos and artwork.
Payments: subscription payments are processed by MyFatoorah. We receive and store the amount, currency, invoice and payment identifiers, status and the plan purchased. We never receive or store card numbers.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps in server logs; a session token and your preferences (language, currency, last-used tab) in your browser's local storage.
2. How we use it
To provide the service: calculate and store quotes and jobs, and send quote-approval emails to your customers on your behalf.
To manage your subscription, plan limits and billing.
To keep accounts secure, detect abuse and provide support.
To improve the product, using aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Google user data
When you sign in with Google we request only your basic profile: name, email address and profile picture. We use this solely to create and identify your Shlon account and to show your name inside the app. Google user data is not shared with any third party, is not used for advertising, is not sold and is not used to build profiles.
You can remove Shlon's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Your Shlon account stays usable with your email address and password.
Shlon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
We request only the openid, email and profile scopes. We do not receive your Google password, and we have no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google data.
We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. No person at Shlon reads this data except with your consent, for security reasons, or to comply with the law.
4. Who we share data with
Service providers that process data on our behalf, each bound by its own privacy terms and receiving only what it needs: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Netlify (web hosting), MyFatoorah (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), and Google or Apple (sign-in, only if you choose them).
Your customers: when you send a quote for approval, the recipient sees the quote details and your company name and branding.
Authorities: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Shlon and its users.
5. Where data is stored and how it is protected
Data is hosted on Supabase and Netlify infrastructure. All connections use encryption in transit (TLS). Each company's data is isolated with database row-level security, so one company can never read another's records. Passwords are hashed, payment card details never reach our systems, and staff access is limited to what support requires.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your company's data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep for accounting and tax purposes for the period required by law, and backups, which expire on their own schedule.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we process it, by emailing info@shlon.app from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
8. Cookies and local storage
Shlon does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage holds your sign-in session and your preferences; clearing it signs you out and resets your preferences.
9. Children
Shlon is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens we rely on the contractual safeguards those providers offer.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any update on this page with a new date. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will email account owners before it takes effect.
